THE MOST FUTURISTIC "RETRO" BOOM!

Happy to enjoy such interest moments in the Le Coq Sportif SLS F/W Fashion Show!

Pyramid-shaped curtains that started from the sky-high ceiling;
I could tell how big of a scale this show was, the moment I walked in through the entrance. The long run-way was fully surrounded by buyers, the press, and specially invited readers of AnAn.

Even before the show commenced, I looked around and enjoyed the fun of a fashion show. I knew it! To meet our expectations, it was then when celebrities started to show up. Flashes and excitement toward Jan Woohyuk, Lee Dahae Lee, Jun Jin, Hwangbo, Choo Soyoung, Lee Jung and other celebrities stirred up the show vibe even further.

Today's Lecoq Sport SLS F / W fashion show was a collaboration of three talented Asian artists. It was one of the global projects to show unique sports look.
Designer Hong Seung Wan, product designer Joon Ki Moon, who works on high-tech design, and Tomohiro Suzuki, who is leading many enthusiasts in Japan. These three were the main artists this season. Their common theme is 'Redesigned Retro'. I wonder how Retro would be reinterpreted.

The first model is Park Sihyun and Lee Dong Wook. I watched the enthusiastic applause and cheers of the drama "My Girl" partner. Finally, the music of electronic beat came out and the stage of this day which was very speedy started. White, resembling white eyes, is the main color of simple yet sophisticated designer, Hong Seung Wan. The underground retro sensibility matured and arranged, emphasizing warmth and practicality. Of course, the bulky padding is a silhouette of a dandy, bravo!

Designer Joon Ki Moon presented details that incorporated props and technology with geometric forms, various colors and various materials, adding fun to what might have been boring. A last, Tomohiro Suzuki was in charge of design of passion which was about to unveil with intensifying smog in the dark. Luxury black being the main color, it was layered with casual and formal cloths, expressing the speediness of motor sports using various dotted lines and stitches at the same time. The reinterpretation of "Retro" that is suitable for 21st century was what filled the entire fashion show. With the encounter of future added on to the past, speedy stage progression and the music that stimulated it, and the flashiness of the celebrities, I could not feel the borderlines separating the past, present and the future throughout the fashion show;

Just like our lives today.
